Ahh, Little Meek. I don’t feel like I should be writing this for you. Not yet, anyway! But I am. You took us all by surprise and it is hard to comprehend that you are no longer guarding the gate on Geranium, always on the lookout when home. We anticipate you tearing around the corner of the kitchen door when the food bowls hit the floor! Or, dancing on your back paws waiting for your bowl to be set down next. And, of course, you would be the first to finish so you could try to steal a morsel of…Details
Vinnie was one of 5 Doberman littermates dumped by a backyard breeder at a local kill shelter. Vinnie was the smallest of his brothers and without protection of any vaccinations – he became very ill with the Parvo Virus only days after we pulled them from the shelter. He was less than 5 months old when he died and he had been very ill for almost half of his short…Details
On August 13, 2003 a crate with two little dogs was left outside the front door of Metairie Small Animal Hospital. Our Girl Baby Wings will always be remembered for her fun nature, lively spirit, and joy for life. We know that her “Wings” will carry her to heaven. Life was made better because she was in it.

Bailey was full of personality to say the least, and the sound of his “love growl” will be forever missed. He will always be missed and never forgotten by his mommy, daddy, meemaw, peepaw, his brothers, Billy and Shaggy, and numerous other family and friends.
Blue, our funny, loving bunny passed away at age eleven plus years. He leaves behind his bonded mate, Josie, and a house stilled by his absence. The remaining five Booth Bunnies had just lost their elder rabbit RB (12 plus years) a month ago and now Blue is gone. How quiet a home can be when just one family bunny is missing. As all Booth Bunnies are, Blue, was rescued and immediately bonded with Josie. They have lived together for the last eleven years. He brought such laughter to all of us, everything was of interest to him especially humans.…Details
Mugsy was a one of a kind street dog that stole my heart that was taken in by her Aunt. She was called the bearded lady and had this unique way of grabbing your finger or wrist and leading you to the back door. She liked to look for her treats and could tell you what she wanted by speaking with her eyes. Mugsy fell to cancer but hung in longer than expected. She was a very affectionate & loving dog and everyone fell in love with her. I loved & miss her dearly. Mom

Our grand adventure with Puddin cat began in early l993 when he found us (his new family). My one year old daughter Shannon and I were leaving my accountants office in the Bywater neighborhood of New Orleans. At the time we had Snowy, a white female with blue eyes; Little Red, a male, who preferred to be an…Details

How do you say goodbye to your friend, protector and constant companion? I don’t believe we ever will. For now we will just say farewell, until we meet again. Our lives have been richer, happier and certainly more blessed because we shared them with Chester. He came to be with us by chance. We didn’t know what we were in for! He trained us to give him a treat every time he came inside (and he only went outside to do his business!). He trained us to go to bed at the same time every night (and he certainly let…Details
If tears could build a stairway, And memories a lane, I’d walk right up to Heaven And bring you home again. ~Author Unknown RB Booth Our beautiful RB has left us, in leaving she has left our hearts exposed. The last 12-13 years she has brought us joy beyond words. RB never met a person who did not interest her, she never turned down a chance to travel out of her home and educate everyone about rabbits. I can still hear children in schools calling “bye RB” “come back soon Miss RB” in only the way young ones can speak…Details
Seth was only 8 years old when he went to live in doggy heaven. Seth, my pain in losing you so suddenly is devastating, and the only comfort I feel is in knowing that you are no longer in pain. I knew it was time to settle in for the day.Mornings, Seth would, of course, snuggle in and greet me. He was so happy that I was finally awake and…Details
He is my other eyes that can see above the clouds; my other ears that hear above the winds; he is the part of me that can reach out into the sea. He has told me a thousand times over that I am his reason for being; by the way he rests his head against my leg; by the way he thumps his tail at my smallest smile; by the way he shows his hurt when I leave without taking him (I think it makes him sick with worry when he is not along to care for me). When I…Details

Pet Memorial Angel 2003-2015 She was one of the most beloved pet. She not only had one family but two. In Loving Memory Satchmo Nobles Satchy – Mere words cannot possibly describe our feeling of loss since you’ve been gone. Our home was once warm and vibrant, perfectly accented by your wagging tail, and drooling mouth. Now, only shadows of our happiness remain. There are reminders of you in every room. Each reminder is bittersweet because it brings with it both the joys of remembrance, and the perils of loss. It’s a struggle. As painful as it is, if we had to do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing. Our lives changed instantly the moment you came…Details

My life was fuller because you were here. Life will never be the same. I will await upon my arrival to my friend, life companion and to know that togetherness is forever. You live in my heart as I did in yours; companions such as you are so rare and unique. Good bye my friend. Heart broken, so sadly missed by Nancy Chambliss and Family.
In Loving Memory of Raven Katrina Calamia By: Rick Calamia, Jr. After a couple of weeks of slowly losing her appetite (and weight) followed by a couple of days of beginning to lose her strength, I scheduled a doctor’s appointment for Raven with her friend and long-time veterinarian, Dr. Joe Dalgo, Jr., M.T., D.V.M. The day before her appointment, however, her condition worsened and Raven endured a long painful evening of suffering. I rushed her to the emergency room. The results of her bloodwork indicated that Raven was suffering from Anemia (hypovolemic shock), and would need an immediate blood transfusion.…Details
Pet Memorial Sammie Sammie was born on July 4th, 2001 and left this world on Good Friday 2016. He gave us almost 15 years of joy. My family all have German Shepherds, so when a toy yorkie was added to the family, everyone thought it was quite funny. If you know little dogs, they have the heart of a lion, so Sammie held his ground, eventually earning the name “Sammie the Bull”. When my only child went off to college, it was just me and my boy for 4 years. I thought I couldn’t get closer to him, but our…Details

While you were great at chasing down or catching the ball, it was a challenge to get the ball back from you. While you left us over 8 years ago, you still are and will always be so close in my heart. You were a wonderful, loyal…Details

You turned into a beautiful, fluffy, fun loving cat and part of the family. Aside from the occasional almost heart attack inducing unexpected jump out of a box or bag, you always brought a sense of calm and…Details

Crayon In memory of our beloved Crayon, a beautiful lilac-crowned Amazon parrot. You were in our lives for more than 30 years, and everyone enjoyed your sweet disposition and interesting personality. Crayon learned to imitate all of the animals he spent time around, including horses and cats. (He made sure the cats knew who was boss, too.) He liked to sit on people’s shoulders and be a part of the conversation. He’ll be forever missed by the whole family, but especially his human “parents,” Irvin and Susan Cassanova.
