Heaven’s Pets at Lake Lawn Metairie is proud to welcome Patrick McCausland as the company’s new president. Patrick brings more than 20 years of experience in business development and operations, having previously served as chief operating officer of Mackie Shilstone’s 7 GNC franchise locations. Mr. McCausland replaces Jennifer T. Melius, who has served as president since August 2005.
“I am thrilled to join such an outstanding organization in Heaven’s Pets at Lake Lawn Metairie at this time of tremendous growth. My goal is to continue the passion for our beloved pets by giving the pet parent the peace of mind to make an informed, valued and trusted decision, just as we would with any of our other family members.”
While COO of Mackie Shilstone’s 7 GNC franchises, Patrick cultivated and applied expertise in sales, marketing and product development to outmaneuver the competition, increase market share and successfully manage client relationships. Under Patrick’s leadership, the company grew from one to seven of the top revenue-producing franchises in the southern region which included Houston, Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.
‘We are so excited to have Patrick join our team as president of Heaven’s Pets at Lake Lawn Metairie,” said Frank Stewart Jr., chairman of the board Stewart Enterprises. “With his extraordinary vision and commitment to excellence, Heaven’s Pets will continue to be the premier pet cremation and bereavement center in Louisiana.’
Patrick currently serves on the school board for Holy Name of Jesus School and is secretary of the Fontainebleau Improvement Association. He lives in New Orleans with his wife Jennifer, son Paddy and golden retriever Blitzen.
