Patrick McCausland, President

Heaven’s Pets at Lake Lawn Metairie welcomed Patrick McCausland as the company’s new president in 2013. Patrick brings more than 20 years of experience in business development and operations, having previously served as chief operating officer of Mackie Shilstone’s 7 GNC franchise locations. Mr. McCausland replaces Jennifer T. Melius, who has served as president since August 2005.

While COO of Mackie Shilstone’s 7 GNC franchises, Patrick cultivated and applied expertise in sales, marketing and product development to outmaneuver the competition, increase market share and successfully manage client relationships. Under Patrick’s leadership, the company grew from one to seven of the top revenue-producing franchises in the southern region which included Houston, Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.

Patrick currently serves on the board for Louisiana Fire Soccer Association and previously served on the board of Holy Name of Jesus School and as secretary of the Fontainebleau Improvement Association. He lives in New Orleans with his wife Jennifer, son Paddy and golden retrievers Blitzen, Biscuit and Edwin.
