“Blitz” Behl
Blitz Behl, a sweet loving dog and to all a friend, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on December 1st 2025. He was born in November of 2017 and lived with The Adams until he was adopted by Blace Behl in 2020. This four legged gentle giant had a contagious smile with nothing but a happy soul inside of him with unlimited love to share and give. His happy soul always brought a smile to anybody he drolled on or tried to steal food from. He always loved meeting new people or new dog friends and trying to play with anybody he could. Even sometimes when being brought outside he would run house to house so he could meet everybody down the street or as far his legs took him and start to play hide and seek with me. Blitz was most of the time energetic especially when he smelt bbq his favorite food. He had the best nose when it came to finding food. His all time favorite was eating hot dogs from his Maw Maw. Also his droll would be across his face and anybody around. Even when he wasn’t in an energetic mood, he was the best snuggle buddy to lay in the blanket with and watch a movie or he joined you if you were lying lonely. I’ll never forget when I would come back from work and catch him on my bed sneaking a nap. Most times I couldn’t get past his smile and puppy eyes to make him get off so I would join him and we would take a nap till he would wake me up to go outside. I think his after work greetings is what I’ll miss the most being able to end a long day with seeing my best friend. Our family will never forget the multiple times he was our alarm clock even if it was early in the morning or late in the afternoon it was time to give him attention. I’ll miss being able to take funny, lazy, or playful pictures but im glad we took them so we can see that beautiful smile and tail wag over and over again till our hearts are full which they will never be. He wasn’t a big chew toy kind of dog. He was either chewing on his bone or a water bottle lying around somewhere. I’m glad I was able to count on him for really anything I needed. Countless times if I was sad or sick he knew and did his best to help trying to play or lick the tears off my face. I know for the rest of my life he will be by my side with his tail wagging with every choice I make or anywhere I go. I never thought I could learn something from a dog but from watching him I learned that everyone deserves to be shown love so you can see that smile on their face. To continue his love I’ll make sure everybody around me has a smile on their face so I can still make him happy and proud. So I know I’ll be able to see you again one day Blitz, so we can lay and play together forever. I know I won’t be able to find another dog like you and you’ll be special for the rest of my life. Thank you for the amazing and cherishing moments you gave me. I love you Blitz my sweet boy.
